i heart faces - Amy Wenzel Contest

This contest is to win an awesome prize - Amy Wenzel is sponsoring this contest and the prize is one seat to her upcoming photography workshop this May (worth $1,500). Amy wants to know my story. How do I inspire others? She'd like me to share my inspiring story that would encourage others and also share how winning this giveaway will help you in your photography journey.

I am totally not good about writing or reflecting opon myself...and to ask How do I inspire others is probably one of the hardest questions I could answer. So I asked some of my previous clients..which by the way...remain my friends long after their session. The response I received was "your smile, its bright, welcoming and encouraging and its like you shine through without having to say anything at all. People just know your happy, loving, and have such a true, sincere spirit. "..After some thought I remembered a quote I had heard before.."people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". This is so true.... maybe it is my smile, that inspires people. Maybe its the fact that I stop to fix their hair (i hate bang parts) before I shoot a picture. Or perhaps its the time I take to fix a wedding dress, or drag props to a shoot. My point is, I care about others..and I do what makes me happy..Photography makes me happy, and working with people makes me happy. When you are happy, others have a chance to feel happy.

Nothing touches me more than being the photographer chosen to capture special events happening in peoples lives. I am a dreamer, a visionary, and I'm always in search of finding or creating that "perfect shot". Winning this contest would be an awesome opportunity to help me on my journey. It is better to put your dreams into action and EXPERIENCE, than to sit thinking about what you could do!!! This month I am doing just that, by opening up my very first STUDIO (Ive been working out of my house)! I want to thank my clients for their support and for being MY inspiration.
