An Amazing Story... { 3.23.11 }

Not many people would have the courage to donate a kidney and therefore change the life of someone else. Renee is truly is an amazing person.. this is Daniel's donor... and in a couple of weeks.. she will give him one of her kidneys. This story brings tears to my eyes... I was so honored to shoot some portraits for them and their families.

It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)

More than 26 million Americans have chronic kidney disease and most don’t know it. Since kidney disease is often silent without any symptoms, it can sneak up on people, especially those who are not aware of the major risk factors. Anyone with high blood pressure, diabetes or a family history of these conditions or kidney disease is at risk and should get his or her kidneys checked. March is National Kidney Month.
